Terms of Service

These terms describe the QuantSonar service, responsibilities for accounts and API keys, payment and refund rules, and the licence provided with each plan.
Welcome to QuantSonar (quantsonar.com, the "Service"). By registering or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
QuantSonar provides API access to China A-share market data — quotes, financials, money flow, Dragon-Tiger lists and more — together with documentation and AI-agent access.
2. Important disclaimer: research use only
- Data provided by the Service constitutes no investment advice; permitted uses are defined by Section 6 and any applicable Business order;
- Data is compiled from public sources; we strive for accuracy and timeliness but make no warranty of accuracy, completeness or timeliness;
- You bear sole responsibility for any investment decision made on the basis of this data.
3. Accounts & API keys
- Keep your password and API keys safe; calls made with a leaked key count against your quota;
- No reselling or sharing of API keys outside the authorised team members named in a Business order; no circumvention of rate limits via scraping or multiple accounts;
- We may restrict or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Payment & refunds
- Paid plans support one-time monthly or annual access, plus an optional monthly subscription. Available payment methods are shown on the Stripe Checkout page;
- One-time access does not renew. Monthly subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled at any time in the console; access remains active through the current period;
- When paid access ends without renewal, the account returns to FREE; data and keys are kept;
- Business starts at CNY 4,999 per year and is quoted by team size, number of API keys and service scope. Invoicing, payment terms, SLA and authorised team scope are defined in the accepted order or written agreement;
- Refunds: self-service plans qualify for a full refund within 7 days of payment if no more than 100 successful paid-endpoint calls have been made — contact support@quantsonar.com; otherwise refunds are negotiated pro rata.
5. Availability
Except where a Business plan includes a written SLA, the Service is maintained on a best-effort basis with no 100% uptime guarantee. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. Outages beyond our control carry no liability; interruptions exceeding 72 hours extend your access period pro rata.
6. License
FREE, PRO and Expert license the individual subscriber to use retrieved data for non-commercial study, research, backtests and personal tools. Companies, institutions and other organisations using data in internal commercial systems, business operations or client deliverables must purchase Business and restrict access to the authorised team named in the order. Every plan prohibits bulk resale, public redistribution of raw data, or building a directly competing data product. The Python SDK is MIT-licensed.
7. Changes
Material changes will be announced on-site or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
